Privacy policy
Effective
This policy explains what information Fulshear Garage Door Pros (“we”, “us”) collects through fulsheargaragedoorpros.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. The site is operated by East Side Warehouse LLC, doing business as Fulshear Garage Door Pros. We are an independent information and referral website, not a garage door company.
Summary
- If you submit a service request or call our number, we connect you with one independent garage door service provider, the one working with us at that time, so they can help with that request. We may be paid by that provider.
- We don’t sell lists of contact details, and we don’t send your request to several competing companies.
- We use privacy-friendly analytics and do not use advertising cookies.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at [email protected].
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a service request we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), ZIP code, the type of problem, how urgent it is, your description, your preferred contact method and your agreement to the referral consent statement, including the version of that statement and the time you agreed. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you request. To prevent spam we may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates signals from your browser. We store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address with a service request for fraud and duplicate prevention, not the address itself.
How you found us. The site keeps a small record in your browser’s local storage of the page you first arrived on, the referring website and any campaign tags in the link (such as “utm_source”). If you submit a request, this information is sent with it so we can understand which pages and search results lead to requests. It contains no contact details.
Analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, to count visits and pages viewed. If we enable Google Analytics, Google will process information about your visit under its own policies; we configure it without advertising features. We may also record simple, non-personal events such as “clicked call button” or “submitted request” with a random visit identifier.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, such as precise geolocation, health or financial account information. Please don’t include it in the description field.
How we use information
- To pass your service request to a provider and to follow up on whether you were contacted.
- To check request quality, prevent spam and abuse, and keep the site secure.
- To measure which content is useful and how the site performs.
- To respond to your questions, corrections or privacy requests.
- To comply with law and protect our rights.
How we share information
With a garage door service provider. When you submit a request and agree to the consent statement, we send your request details directly to the one independent garage door company working with us at that time, which serves your area, so it can contact you by phone or email about that request. Where possible, the confirmation page shows that company’s name after you submit. The provider uses your information under its own privacy practices; any quote, work, warranty and payment is between you and the provider. We may receive compensation from the provider for referrals or for advertising on this site. Under some privacy laws, sharing information with a business that pays us may be considered a “sale.” We share your request only as needed to provide the service you asked for, and only with your consent.
The provider who receives your request is the one working with us when you submit it. If we later work with a different provider, your request is not passed on to them unless you ask us to.
With our service providers. We use vendors to host the site and store requests (Cloudflare), to protect forms from spam (Cloudflare Turnstile), to route phone calls (Twilio), to send request and notification emails (Resend), and, where enabled, to measure site use. They may process information only on our behalf.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the safety, rights or property of users, us or others.
Business transfers. If the site or its business is sold or transferred, information may transfer to the new owner subject to this policy.
Calls, texts and automated contact
We do not use your phone number for marketing, and we don’t send automated or prerecorded calls or marketing texts. A provider will contact you only about the request you submitted.
Calling our number. Calls to the phone number on this site are forwarded through a call-routing service (Twilio) to the one independent garage door provider working with us at the time. You’ll hear a short message saying who you’re being connected with. We record the calling number, the time, how long the call lasted, whether it was answered and which provider it went to. We do not record call audio. If the provider doesn’t answer, we send them your calling number and the time of the call so they can return it, and they may call you back about your request.
How long we keep information
We keep service requests and call records for up to 24 months after submission or the call so we can confirm requests were handled and resolve questions, then delete them or remove identifying details. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept longer. Providers keep the information we share with them under their own policies.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your personal data and give you access to it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete information we hold about you;
- give you a copy of your information in a portable format; and
- not share your information with providers in the future.
Email [email protected] with your request. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your request, for example by confirming the phone number or email you used. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line; we will respond to appeals within 60 days. Texas residents who are not satisfied with the result of an appeal may contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
To stop a provider from contacting you, tell the provider directly and let us know so we can record it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and spam protection. No website can guarantee complete security.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
